"Positive Vibes Only"
- Maya Evans
The Reason Vibe Exists...
On May 3rd, 2018, after a short and courageous battle with leukemia the world lost this spunky, energetic and inspirational young lady and SCV lost its original lacrosse superstar.
Maya Evans was the first high school girls lacrosse player from the SCV to make a name for herself in Southern California. She began playing lacrosse at West Ranch High School in the spring of 2014 and quickly fell in love with the game. Maya went on to become Varsity captain, MVP, Teammate of the Year and 2 year 1st Team All-League recipient.

Maya was loved by her teammates and feared by her opponents. She was a true athlete and the definition of a leader. She valued her talent and was always working to challenge herself both on and off the field.
Maya often encouraged her teammates with three letters... P.V.O which stood for Positive Vibes Only. Vibe Lacrosse was created in honor of Maya in hopes that she can continue to inspire young athletes to work hard and never stop improving.
